Dr. Oehmke has always been good to me and my pets. The staff there really care and it shows. I really like that the Doctor will call me personally when he wants to explain how things are going and to check back on my pets.

I really like him he is very helpful he tried to save my hamster but it would not work I would recommend him

I admittedly was scared about taking our bearded dragon here after reading the relatively negative comments on here. Since they were the only place that was recommended to me by 2 other people for exotics we decided to check them out. The staff were absolutely wonderful and they were very fair priced I feel. Our beardie had a full physical exam and they were all very nice to both us and to our dragon and she is now feeling much better. So my advice is to take reviews with a grain of salt until you at least visit the place first. They even were able to squeeze us in on a Friday afternoon instead of making us wait until the following week. They will be seeing us again with all our other dragons for their physicals now after this visit. I recommend them. **Edit** Despite our beardie feeling much better, she passed away a few days later. Still unknown, but the vet called us on their own to ask how she was doing, after we told them she had passed, they took the time and even sent a sympathy card. The fact that they cared that much to take time out of their day to check and then send their sympathies meant a lot to me. They will still be getting all our business in the future.

They over charge way to much. we have been going to this vet since we moved to the west side over 10 years ago. all of our animals have died while seeing them, they haven't been able to save an animals. they always want to do tests before anything else. the test are very expensive. we have probably spend 8 thousand dollars at this vet and in the end it didnt help because they all died. don't do go to this vet, it is dangerous for your pet and your wallet.

THEY DO OVERCHARGE AND WANT TEST AFTER TEST. That said...I feel like they really do care about our animal friends. They started out being a really nicely priced service. But their rates have gone up so drastically. And if you act like money is an issue, they act like you are an aweful pet lover. I have spent over $9,000 there & they look down on me when I try to ask for a better price on a med or service. I am in the process of moving to a different vet. Wish they would go back to fair pricing, would love to stay there.
