I have a young female whippet who has had severe separation anxiety since I first brought her home. I did some research and found that Prozac was an especially good and new treatment for the problem she has . After inquiring with 4 other local vets and finding they were either not aware of the prozac use or didn't think it would be effective, I found Dr. Vicki Sandage , a veterinarian who had treated other dogs for me in the past, and she agreed to also research the Prozac treatment which she promptly did , got back to me and wrote an Rx for my dog. Let me just say in long story short...it has worked WONDERS for Lucy, my dog !! It takes a couple of weeks to begin seeing improvements , but IT WORKS ! The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Each goes out of their way to ensure quality services and assist in answering all questions or concerns the client may have. Dr.Sandage is a very good and through vet that cares greatly for animals.
