My parents have used Dr. Pinkston for decades and have never had a problem or issue. Now he has his son who has joined his clinic. They took a healthy dog in to have a 1. Teeth cleaning 2. They recieved a call an hour later stating their dog was DEAD !!!!! 3. All explanations given by staff and Jr. dont make any sense. Please be careful if using this clinic IS THE PROCEDURE NECESSARY OR DO THEY JUST WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY......AT THE COST OF YOUR DEAR ANIMALS LIFE !!!! My mom and dad had to bring their dog home in a plastic bag !! Dont let this happen to you.

I have taken my pets there for almost 4 years. The doctors and most of the staff are more than courteous. Their head tech has never given me one piece of advice, that was not reversed by the veterinarians. Advice given by all other staff has always been closer to correct than hers and I've never understood why they don't hire a "real" head vet tech. One surgery resulted in a trip to the emergency room and the loss of a body part, even after daily visits. We quit seeing that vet at all and were never offered any compensation for the over $700 bill. We have continued to visit them, but what is more upsetting that anything, is believing in their care and concern only to finally realize that after falling on numerous hard times and doing everything possible to care and have always pay in full for my pet care, when push came to shove, they have no care or concern if you have no money no matter how long you have been with them. No exceptions.
