I have been so very pleased with the services at Guardian Animal Medical Center for the past year and a half! The staff is very helpful and Dr. Wixsom is very caring and intelligent. She is very good at communicating the things going on with our furry family members and she is always up front and honest. I completely trust her and the staff members there to provide the best care for my pet. If you are looking for great care for your pets I would HIGHLY recommend going to Guardian Animal Medical Center.

Think twice before taking your animal(s) to this clinic. Their staff is quite the circus, with little to no communication with one another. We scheduled a spay for our cat, the person that took the call assured us that we could pick her up the day of the surgery (even though typically they request the animal stay an extra night). I am a veterinary technician, so I am more than capable of caring for my feline at home...as opposed to leaving her there an extra night where she would have been left unattended from 6pm on. I was told that if there were any problems with me picking her up the day of the surgery, I would be called PRIOR to dropping her off. Two full days went by, and no phone call. My husband and I dropped her off the evening before her surgery, as requested. We even spoke with the receptionist who (also!) assured us there was no problem with us bringing her home the next day. What do we get at 9pm this evening? A phone call, informing us that they will not do the spay unless our cat can stay a 3rd day...telling us that if we won't allow it, they refuse to do the surgery. Wow, thanks a heaping ton for wasting our valuable time! Now, our kitten is stuck in a strange place, alone, overnight...since whoever it was that just called us did so a few hours after the clinic closed. Again, be very careful when dealing with this joke of an establishment. No communication between staff members, and in addition, multiple prices were quoted wrong, depending on who we spoke with. There are plenty of other vets in this area, I suggest looking into one with a more intelligent staff.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Wixsom for five years now. I have never had any issues with them or the staff. Her prices are fair and I am always impressed on how very professional and caring her and her staff are. I truley trust the care that my four legged family members receive there and plan on remaining a client of Dr. Wixsoms for severel more years to come.
