We came there with our two boxers and one of our cats. The boxers had their routine check up with shots, etc. That went well. However our cat (Joy) had been sick & we wanted to see what we could do for her. Dr Liga suggested an ultrasound, unfortunately it came back showing that Joy had cancer & it was too far gone to treat. Dr Liga gave us a couple of options & we decided we did not want our Joy to suffer so we put her down. Dr Liga & staff was very compassionate about our situation. Dr Liga was very thorough in taking care of our pets. Never once did they try to rush us, they gave us time with our cat to say good bye.
Dr. Matt is the best vet ever. He is calm, experienced, amazing in his knowledge and surgical skill. I was sent to him specifically by the emergency vet clinic. He saved my dog's life. The prices are the most reasonable, by far, in town.
I'm giving this clinic a 5 because after calling every vet in the Northern Kentucky area this is the only vets office that could help a 3 week old kitten I found the night before. I didn't have the money for a vet, so they put me in contact with a rescue to help finance his treatments. Other hospitals in the area told me I had to pay up front or the kitten would just suffer from the upper respiratory infection. They were friendly and comforting. Without them, the kitten wouldn't have made it another two days. The service I got was wonderful and they had the financial resources to back it up. Other vet clinics can learn a thing or two, and maybe learn to work with rescue organizations on a name to name bases so strays brought in from the street can have a chance at life.
There are no fancy decorations or furniture here and there are no appointments- only walk-ins. With that being said, the care my animals have received here is excellent. Every staff member I have met has been helpful and kind. On my most recent visit, Dr.Bay and her Techs expressed the utmost kindness and compassion towards me and my pet during a very difficult time.
I would like to thank the staff (both medical and clerical) for the wonderful service, treatment and kindness shown during our many visits throughout the years, routine and otherwise. Buster always knew he would be treated with the utmost care and and respect and we knew he received the best care possible. Last night we unexpectedly had to say our final goodby to our Buster Boy and they could not have done more to help us through the pain. God Bless
