Recently had a great experience here, took my kitty in because he had the runs and was under the weather... the vet gave a very lax time slot and was very warm even though we arrived late (oops). She took her time with my cat and even gave us a free visit for it being his first time. I have three cats (have had more over the years) and this is by far the most affordable vet I've been to.... I mentioned my other cat having sneezing fits and she gave me free advice about him, even told me what to buy (outside of her office) to help him out! Now I've never been to a vet who would give outside advice and not beg for you to bring your animal in asap! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone, shes great with kitties!
Dr. Herbert is VERY reasonably priced and has great hours for those of use who have full time jobs. A bit akward with people but great with my pitbulls and border collie which far more important to me. She is a vet who loves animals and didnt go into the profession for the $$$
I rescued a puppy from a horrible environment over the weekend. She had ringworms. When I took her to All Creatures Great and Small, Dr. Hebert looked at her as if she were a freak show. I told her what I had rescued her from and that I had reported what I had saw she said, "do you realize that you just murdered all those dogs". She continued to make me feel that I was 1 inch tall by continually saying that I had murdered the dogs. I was literally in tears while my dog was getting checked out. I would NEVER intentionally hurt an animal. I was simply doing what I thought was the right thing. I found her VERY unprofessional. I would not want my worst enemies to take their pets to her. Even though the first visit is free, it would have been worth paying a large amount of money to be treated with professionalism and dignity. The receptionist was exceptionally nice. She was very caring. Dr. Hebert did not even pet my puppy. She touched her with the back of her index finger, and then said she had to wash her hands. This was my first vet experience, and by far the worst, and last for All Creatures.
I took my dog in for double ear infections and found Dr. Hebert to be professional, knowledgable and kind. If you want reasonble priced vet care, go see Dr. Hebert. - Chris
