I had to board my dog unexpectedly for a day, and I was very pleased with Riverside. In addition to being extremely convenient to Barksdale AFB and the VA Hospital, I was more than pleased to find an extremely clean and professional facility. The rate for boarding was also commensurate with other kennels/animal hospitals. The petcare technician who received my dog was very thoughtful and professional and treated my pet with great care. They walked her several times during her 6-hour stay. Although she didn't stay overnight, I would not hesitate to leave her there again and look forward to it.

I visited Riverside to have my dog groomed. They were great! Also, unlike most other groomer's, they express the anal glands internally (not external method), which is a big difference! My baby came home lookin' good, smellin' good, and happy! Thumbs up for Riverside Animal Hospital!

I am very protective of my two sweet angels (a chihauhau mix and beagle mix), so when it came time to find a new vet and hotel for them to stay at I did my research. I was impressed with the reviews online for Riverside Animal Hospital so I called for more information. The gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and reassuring that my babies would be taken care of. I left them at their hotel for a few nights and when I picked them up I could tell they had been well taken care of and spoiled! My babies were happy to see my but were more relaxed than as they have been when I have left them other places- letting me know that they were happy and had a good time! I would recommend Riverside Animal Hospital to anyone for their four-legged children! Nice, freindly, compassionate, professional staff!

We have gone to Dr. Ritter for years with our three dogs. The care has always been excellent and we highly recommend Dr. Ritter and his staff. Two of our dogs have had surgery which Dr. Ritter performed and recovery was quick with no complications. Dr. Ritter and his staff are all very professional and very caring. Unfortunately we moved out of state, but I still visit to get our dogs medications.
