This staff goes above and beyond to help take care of your pets. We never feel rushed and we are always given as much time as needed. We have one of our dogs that was terrified to go to any other vet, but Dr. Guidry always takes the time and effort needed to comfort her. There is no way we would go anywhere else now that we have the best vet and staff in town!

I love the service and the people at Animal Care Hospital. (My last Vet had her people hold my dog in a towel when she had to do any work.) At Animal Care Hospital, the assistants know how to hold my dog without restraining him and he behaves very nicely. My kitties - 3 of them - love the attention they get also, and don't mind the shots. Neither does my dog. We are all happy with Animal Care Hospital and the 4-leggers highly recommend Dr. Guidry and the services they receive. Animal Care Hospital is also a full service pet place. You get great veterinary care and you can have your pet shaved and bathed. The boarding is top notch, and my doggie gets a report card on how well he liked his "vacation" and what he did.

Dr. Mike Guidry has been our Vet for many years. Dr. Mike did choose the right profession. He is compassionate, caring and most of all truly loves his furry friends. His staff is always ready and willing to help. It takes special people to do what they do. They see pets as family. They understand when it is time to say good-bye and realize how hard it is on the family. They are also there when you bring a new furry friend to say hello and welcome them to the family. From the most basic staff to the doctor, everyone was so caring and well informed. The atmosphere is one where they all clearly look forward to coming to work. As a physician who trained in the top program in my field, I must say that this vet is fantastic. My 10 year old cat went into kidney, liver, and pancreatic failure. It took months, but that bundle of love plays like a kitten again. (My first vet had advised to put her down.) Most important is that he is aware of issues that must be referred out. Most will not do that. While my baby was at LSU (for a month), this vet kept calling to check on her. He loves what he does and he will love your pet as you do. If you want THE BEST, look no further.

Dr Guidry is an excellent vet. You never have to wait long, the office staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. Dr. Guidry is always cheerful and is a natural with the animals. He spends a minimum of ten minutes with you -never seems rushed. Really shows you he cares about your pet. He answers all your questions and is not impatient. I've called him for advice many times when the pup was ill or injured himself. Dr. Guidry always answered or returned a missed call quickly. His prices are competitive in my opinion, certainly not the cheapest but definitely worth it. My wife and I absolutely recommend animal care hospital.
