There is not enough space here for me to write the praises I have for the people of LVCC...From the most compassionate doctors I have ever been associated with to the smiling friendly faces of ALL the support staff who all know Angel by name (and all other pets that come in). Some people may claim that their fees are higher than others... I wouldn't know because my dogs well-being is priceless to me. I have only good feelings for everything about this facility!!!
I was most impressed with the Lafayette Veterinary Care Center. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was exceptionally friendly and kind to my sick little cat. Every step of the exam was explained to me, and all my questions were answered patiently and thoroughly. The doctor even called after a few days to see how the treatment was working. The lobby and the examining rooms were both extremely inviting, comfortable and most important, they were clean. I would highly recommend this veterinary service to everyone.
We have two dogs and two cats. Our golden retriever, Max, had a catastrophic eye problem almost two years ago which brought us to Dr. Andy at LVCC. He tried so hard to save the eye, but the damage was done. Dr. Marc did the surgery to remove the eye. We have never had a doctor of any kind call us personally late at night to let us know how our loved one was progressing... in great detail. He explained everything and told us his plan step by step. We recovered! Later Max swallowed a work glove and Dr. Patrick did surgery to remove it. Once again we received excellent care and step by step recovery plans. The pet parents receive as much compassion as the pets! Our new rescue pup Grace ate a poisonous plant and was given immediate care which I am sure saved her life. One of our cats who is 16 years old had an ulcerated lip which looked really painful. Dr. Marc and Dr. Andy biopsied her lip and eliminated our worst fears and came up with a treatment plan. Winnifred our geriatric cat is back to her old grumpy self. The people that we have encountered at LVCC give us their undivided attention every time we go there. This includes all the people at the counter, on the phone, in the care rooms, and the spa. This is an excellent business model. We have enjoyed access to the spa boarding service for the dogs when we have to be out of town. The fact that they are in the same facility as our vets gives us peace of mind. We used the dog training sessions for our wild and crazy rescue pup. Danielle Upton was the trainer. Once again we were very pleased. She even came to our house to help train us! Great job LVCC!!!! We would not think of taking our animals any where else!
LVCC is the best! Everyone treats your pet like they are their own from the time you walk in the door until the time you walk out. Everyone from the doctors down to the customer care specialists are so kind, caring and compassionate not only to their patients but to their patients family. Thank you, Dr. Angie, and everyone at LVCC for giving me peace of mind when it comes to the care of my new puppy, Zack, and for the kindness and compassion shown to me and Yogi, my companion of 16 years, especially during the last year and a half of his life. I know I could not have gotten through such a difficult time without all of you by my side. Just love you guys!
We have American Bullies, finding a vet for them is not easy because a lot of people think of them as pitbulls. (We also have a pitbull as well) we have been to many different vets around the area and have had multiple problems/conflicts. Lafayette Veterinary is by far the most amazing vet we have ever been to. They treat our bullies as if they were their own. The Doctors & staff are very knowledgeable to all of the needs and care of our bullies. We recommend a lot of friends and family that have a difficult time and finding a vet for their bullies. A friend of ours drives from Alexandria just to come here. We have done everything from dog care, to progesterone test & even surgeries with C-sections. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone looking for an amazing vet not just for Bullies but for any breed of animals. Thank you Lafayette Veterinary for everything you do to make us feel right at home and giving our minds the ease to know our pets are safe and very well taken care of.
