I was planning on writing a review on google for the Country Club Veterinary Clinic. I do understand that each person has their own opinion. But after reading a very negative review from someone by the name of T Dubb I have to say that his review sounds very outrageous and in my opinion could possibly be untrue. I am the owner of 7 dogs. Four Bichon Frise, 2 Tiny Miniature Schnauzers and 1 Regular size Miniature Schnauzer. I call them my babies and take care of them as such. They all get their annuals and their heart worm shots. Point making, I just wouldn't take them to just any veterinary clinic. I'm not saying there aren't any other good veterinary clinic's and doctors in the Lake Charles area. There are many. I look for a veterinary doctor who loves and cares for my babies as much as I do. I have found that with Dr. Briley and Dr.Mocklin at the Country Club Veterinary Clinic my babies do receive the love and care I would expect from a veterinary clinic. Also, when I had to take one of my babies in for a particular illness I always received a or a couple of follow up calls just to see how my dog was doing. I have been using Country Club Veterinary Clinic since their opening and will continue to do so. They are very professional. But, they also love and care for the animals that are brought to them. Also one more point I would like to make. My babies have been under the care of Dr. Briley for about 9 years. So, as you can tell I would 100% recommend Country Club Veterinary Clinic. Understand this, I am using my real name.

Took our dog there when he ingested part of a tennis ball. They took xrays and immediately recommended a $1500 surgery (this should be like step 4 unless the dog is clearly in grave danger - ours wasn't). I declined and just went with the anti-vomit shot. A day later our dog was totally fine. Kept him on baby food for 2 days. Never got a follow up call to see how he was. I was a vet tech for 3 years. Would not recommend this place.
