I brought in a neglected Pitt that had been surrendered to me and Dr. Saacks was very helpful and informative! He was very patient with all of my questions and gave this poor dog quality care. All of the bad ratings on the web describe an entirely different person than the one that I have dealt with. His office is clean, prices fair, and attitude friendly.

Dr. Saacks and his staff are very gentle, knowledgeable, and patient. The services are VERY reasonably priced. Dr. Saacks has a passion for what he does, and it shows. I have been to other vet offices before, and none of them compare to this one. I would like to extend this review to the affiliated doggy day care, across the street. I've never felt anything but comfortable and confident when leaving my dog in their care.

He is an AWFUL, TERRIBLE man with a filthy, tiny, unprofessional practice. He is very condescending, MEAN, and he keeps his kid with him at work, which is SUPER annoying. It seems to be just him and his wife, and they don't have money for childcare apparently, because the little girl is there all the time. And they don't keep her in check, either. I had an appointment with him and waited more than an HOUR for him to even show up at the "office" (if you can even call it that! it is a falling down shack!) He doesn't appear to have any technicians (?) and tries to do everything by himself. There are so many other great vets in town, why go to him??? I recommend Maple Freret Small Animal personally.
