Staff was kind to both me and my dog got him in real fast. The Dr and tech answered all my questions very kindly and patiently and they didn't charge me for extra things and didn't judge me for not wanting extra things. I'm on a fixed income and this place was amazing, They made a loyal client today.

Our firm loves and supports the Magazine Street Animal Clinic. They have been treating our 8 year old golden retriever with cancer for the past few months and the entire staff has been amazing. They have been kind, patient and have answered all of our questions regarding our dog's prognosis. We are fortunate that Dr. Amy caught the cancer as quickly as possible and Gigi is now in remission! They are also dedicated to helping stray and homeless pets in the New Orleans area as well. Dr. Ecke saved our other dog that we adopted when he was a puppy running around the streets of New Orleans. Without her picking him up that day and bringing him back to the clinic for much needed medical care we wouldn't have him today! As a small firm, we love supporting local businesses. Magazine Street Animal Clinic is one definitely worth supporting and gets our thumbs up!

So far our baby's alive. It was very very close for a few minutes there. And keeping her alive was probably down to minutes before we got her in the hospital. Last we saw her, she was sitting up for the first time since yesterday. If anyone happens to go into the Magazine St. Animal Clinic anytime soon, can you do me a favor, while there, burn that bitch to the ground. When I came in and found my puppy unconscious on the floor under a chair and they offered a dirty rag for her to lay on so she doesn't make a mess as she dies, while demanding $1000 before they would think about doing something to help the pup that's puking up blood and having trouble breathing, f-them and f-their clinic. Southern Animal Hospital didn't even ask for money, they just started working on her when I carried her in passed out in my arms and pushed all appointments aside to take care of her first. That's how you say you care about animals. They have her on hourly watch and a nurse will be checking on her all night for the next few days as she spends the week in the hospital. She got Parvo despite having boosters and passed out the during the night. I realize in the really real world that most animal clinics are about the $. I get it. But for fxs sake. Really? Why the f did you get into the business of caring for animals you pricks? Letting a puppy it bleed to death in front of you with out so much as a, "we can get her stabilized first." ps, SAC charged us 300.... after....

Been bringing our dog here for quite sometime and have always had a great experience. The doctors (we normally see Dr. Amy) are kind, thorough, knowledgable, and encourage you to ask questions and call in at anytime. The staff is friendly and the office/location is great. In response to the review below, I'd like to add I've had to take our pup there a few times unscheduled and have never had a problem - they've been great at getting her right in (this includes a visit right at 8 on a Saturday - we waited less than 5 minutes).

I got there 8 in the morning on a Saturday. My cat was having an issue with her paw, and wanted to get her looked at ASAP. Sat for over 2 1/2 hours while appts were given first preference. That's understandable, but I was told several had not shown. Asked about when I would get in, and was basically ignored. Finally gave up, walked out and went to the Prytania Vet (another review, and a good one). They lost a potential customer.
