I have been to a couple vets locally, and they are by far my favorite. They gave me a binder to keep up with all my pets information and records. Which I LOVED and they were ALWAYS so beyond sweet to me. They are pretty pricey I do have to say, but with my being a crazy dog parent, I try and treat almost everything myself so I know the care she gets. So once a year isnt bad. If you are in a money crunch I would be wary, but you pay for the care you get. I wouldnt go any where else now!
This is the best vet service I have ever had for my dog Ally. The people here are the most helpful and just lovely service. I can't say enough about Lindsey and the rest of the team. They have all gone above and beyond for me and the services I needed. The team at this hospital worked for weeks on complicated paperwork for me and that was so much appreciated. Also, the care they take to make sure my precious Ally is in good health and remains that way is outstanding. I would recommend this clinic to any other in the area. I only pray I can find service like this when I move too far away for them to help me anymore. If you haven't had the wonderful experience provided by this clinic then I would advise calling them right now for all your pet needs. You will not find better service in this area. Trust me, I had many vets before I found them and no one compares to the service you will get here. My dog even enjoys going there as much as I do. Many thanks to you all!
It’s with a broken heart that I have to write a negative review and share my unfortunate experiences at Towne South this past month. I'm pretty easy-going and like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it’s important that I share my experience because we're talking about our pets, here, not how much we did or did not like a restaurant. About a month ago, we brought in our sick dog and she tested positive for parasites. We (gladly) paid over $100 for the visit and medicine, hoping it would help our dog. We brought in a stool sample once we completed the first round of medicine, and that test came back negative. A few days later, our dog was sick again. The vet recommended that we put her back on the same medicine for another week (an additional $60-70). We brought our dog back this Tuesday for a follow-up and told the vet that things still didn’t appear to be getting any better. She was prescribed new food and another new medicine – which, when added to the cost of the visit and stool sample test, came out to about $120+. When we KINDLY asked if we could be refunded for this visit (because it shouldn't have ever occurred had the medicine worked the first time), the vet rejected our request and told my husband, "look, man, my job is hard.” I was outraged. I understand that each person might have challenges and difficult times at their job. But that is NOT a logical reason to deny us a refund for your services which haven’t even worked for us from the beginning. It appears to me, since my dog is STILL sick, that you haven't done much of a job at all, actually. You want to know what's hard? Having to fork over hundreds of dollars out of pocket on these visits and medicines because you got it wrong not once, but twice (actually, three times, but I’ll get to that in a bit!). The fact that I'm leaving with an empty wallet and a dog that's STILL sick… now that is hard. (Also, before you complain about having a "hard job," maybe you should think about who is on the other end of that phone and what THEY do for a living. I hate to break up your pity party, but believe it or not, people have it harder than you. You chose your profession, and you can choose to leave and do something easier for a living if it's really that bad over there) When I thought things couldn’t get worse, I came home from work just three days later to find my dog lying on her bed in the living room. She got sick in her kennel, broke down the door to the kennel so she could try to make it outside, got diarrhea all over the house and also vomited twice. Can you imagine how I feel coming home to that after what we have gone through this past month? Can you imagine how my DOG feels? I don’t know what the hell goes on over there, but you have got it ALL wrong when it comes to curing my dog. She had only gotten worse. I cannot even believe that we wasted so much money. That’s really too bad, because at first I thought we were working with a great vet. I hope you take the money you earned from our visits and put it towards training, education, and also business etiquette courses on how to properly communicate with your customers. We have already found a new vet who diagnosed her with something that none of your vets had even mentioned. Now she’s doing just fine, and the staff there is so helpful and kind. We won’t be returning to Towne South for any vet visits or boarding services.
The staff is always so sweet and funny. I know they give my dog all the love and attention when he stays with them! Thanks for taking care of my Bijou! Dr. Hunter is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and loves what she does. Andrew and Kathryn Simpson
my poor rescue puppy was too sick to make it but the staff there was so caring and did EVERYTHING they could do to help her. i would recomend them highly. after i lost my pet they sent me a very sweet card signed by everyone there and a nicely printed poem about ruieniting with your pet on the other side. it was so nice to have people care as much for you and your pet as you hope everyone would. sadly the kind of service and people that Towne South Animal Hospital embodies is few and far between. do yourself and your pet a favor and don't waste your time or risk your pets health with anyone else. 10 stars!!!
