Been taking my kitty to VCA since I moved to Arlington almost two years ago. Things are pricey, I suppose, but my cat is 20.5 years old and still going strong. Their care has be completely worth it. They always call promptly with lab results, they always explain their options and the benefits and drawbacks. Every time I've called with some concern or worry, one of the veterinary doctors calls me back to discuss the issue the same day. When I first moved to Massachusetts from California, I was worried about taking my 19year old cat along... but in reality, I truly feel that bringing her VCA City Cats has been one of the best choices I've made for her.

I don't mind being fleeced, but I object to being skinned. I had been going to City Cats for years, and it was never inexpensive. Then the vet sold it and now the prices are outrageous. Over $600 to have a kitten spayed? And they require a pre-op visit, for which there is another charge. Their bills include all kinds of add-on charges. Admittedly, the service is very good.

This hospital has surpassed my expectations. They offer everything necessary to keep my two cats healthy. They don't recommend things for the money but because they know it will keep your cat healthier longer. Both Dr. Sara Doggett and Dr. Leavey are wonderful and caring. We love the technicians and receptionists who go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The doctors spend the time to discuss everything with us completely and are especially good at keeping kidney failure cats feeling well. You will pay more for the high quality care that you receive here. If you're looking for a place with the cheapest vaccines, go to a vaccine clinic where they don't even bother to look at your pet or make recommendations. It's your loss!
