We have owned 4 dogs in our 20 yr marriage, and all of them have gone or go to Ashland Animal Hospital. They are very in tuned to our 10 yr old golden's anxiety when visiting the vet. They welcomed our new rescue pup. When our then 4 yr old lab got systematic lymphoma, we chose not to go with the chemo route as he would not have been cured. When he could no long walk and was in bad pain we chose to let him go. Our teens accompanied us to AAH when the time came to say goodbye to Comet. The compassion, respect and love they showed our family will forever keep us customers.
Dr Bob Davis and his staff have provided the most loving and advanced medical treatment and general vet services to all of our animals over the past 20 years. We consider him part of the family, as do our animals from our Doby's, & Vizsla's to our Siamese & Labradoodle. He and his staff consistently offer us helpful medical advice and guidance with compassion and understanding. When we are traveling away from home and have to visit another vet we call him for a second opinion and consult and he is always there for us and our animals. There is no one more dedicated.
The Ashland Animal Hospital has taken care of our 2 generations of cats and dogs from 8 week old puppies and kittens through old age. The wonderful staff, from the women at the front desk to the techs to the doctors, have all been consistently professional, competent, accessable and compassionate. Because of their medical expertise, our animals have survived Lyme and tick disease, Parvo disease, kidney disease, vomiting, diarrhea, arthritis, strokes and problems associated with old age. Most impressive are the vets abilities to diagnose a problem and find solutions when others might give up. Our labs have lived to 14 years old due to the care and advice from Ashland Animal Hospital. 5 star rating!
My husbands childhood dog, Casey, received exceptional love and care from Dr. Schwarz and the staff at AAH, so there was no doubt that we would bring our own dog, Gus, and kitten, Ranger, to the same place. Needless to say, from the front desk to the exam room everyone is tender hearted and compassionate to the needs of our furry family members; we wouldn't trust their care to anyone else!
We bring our Tibetan Terrier, Mingus, from Brookline to Ashland Animal Hospital because they don’t just care about his health – they care about him. Mingus has been through a lot since being diagnosed with diabetes about 18 months ago. Dr. Davis has been so caring, thoughtful and considerate that Mingus loves to go visit “Dr. Bob.” Our gratitude for the care Mingus has received at Ashland Animal Hospital is beyond words.
