Went to Pet Smart with Malamute. I was told he would need to be sedated for $325 before they would look at him. Came to Burlington Veterinarian and they were all so super nice and smart. I had to mussel him but I understand that. They ended up telling us he had an infection and we bought pills for $190 and they gave free heart warm medicine. So great experience, will be back!

I cannot say enough good things about the care and commitment of Dr. Meade and the staff. For issues large and small they are responsive and skilled. We have received the very best care with follow-up that I wish I had in my own health care. I recommend them highly and without reservation.

My husband and I had a beautiful 4 year old boxer. He had just started having seizures and Dr. Meade had been treating him. Dr. Meade was wonderful, however; I hold his staff responsible for the death of my pet. Our dog started acting funny, like he was stuck in the pre seizure mode. I called the vet and they said they had an afternoon appointment. Having just moved a half hour away and giving birth a week before I was in no state to bring the dog to the vet. My husband was stuck in traffic so my brother came and picked up the dog. In the car, he went into went into a horrible seizure. My brother ended up in traffic and was 10 minutes late to the appointment. The staff rejected him and wouldn't even call a vet for help as the dog was in a full seizure in the car! We ended up having to put the dog down in the animal hospital for severe brain damage. It is possible that it was to late for him, but to deny a patient in an emergency for being 10 minutes late is the most disgusting thing a so called animal lover can do!

I just recently took my dog here for the very first time for an eye infection and I can not say enough about this practice. Everyone was friendly and pleasant from the front desk to the vet. Dr. Tapscott was WONDERFUL. She was very gentle with my dog. Kind, compasionate, listened to my concerns about my dog's overall health, her joints (my dog does Flyball, Agility and Herding along with we are starting Disc Dog). Dr. Tapscott didn't rush me answered all of my questions about nutrition. I can go on and on about this place as this was the best experience I have EVER had at a vet. If you love your pet and you are looking for a vet that cares about not only your pet but, about your questions and concerns then this is the place to take them. You and your pet will be very, very satisfied. I highly recommend.
