Best Vet around! Dr. Nygard is great with my dog who is very shy. It has been a recent switch but I have had nothing but positive experiences. The prices are great too. I tell everyone to go here that has animals.

I don't know what those other 2 reviews are talking about. This clinic is very affordable and extremely caring and polite. I would not bring my dogs any where else but to Dr. Nygard, and I have 7 dogs. Best vet and clinic that I have ever been to. I recommend Hilltop Animal Clinic to all my family and friends!!!

I am so happy with this clinic. The doctor is wonderful, and so is the receptionist. I went to them for any emergency situation, and before the end of my appointment, I was considering switching from my regular vet. By the end of the appointment, I did switch. Dr. Nygard is very caring, as is the receptionist. I had not been considering switching before I met them both, but couldn't be happier with the care and the welcoming atmosphere extended by the whole office. I am also extremely happy with the prices. I would dread the expense involved in other veterinary visits, but Dr. Nygard keeps her costs very affordable. It would cost me upwards of 70 for a regular vet visit, but at Hilltop they start out at just 20!!! I could not believe it. Other vets keep going up and up and adding on costs, but Dr. Nygard makes it a point to keep prices affordable. I mentioned this to the receptionist, and he said that they are in the business to care for animals and make it a point to keep prices affordable. I couldn't be happier with the care, atmosphere, and prices, and don't understand these two previous posts at all.

I'm basically echoing the above review. I called bc I was told this vet was very affordable and was a very personable Dr. I wasn't happy with my current vets prices, so I called to switch. My 11 year old boxer was doing splits with her rear legs and having hard time getting up. She needed to be seen so I figured this was the perfect time to switch. All I said was I wanted an exam and gave her my dogs symptoms. The receptionist flat out told me if i wanted my dog put down to another vet bc she won't do it. Excuse me? Ive had my dog for 11 years and i'm just going to call a strange vet and request to have her put down? Are you serious? I then said you know what, im all set i'll stick with my current vet bc you can't put a price on common decency! So I was told to call the dr directly and speak to her...i did just that and she was more rude than the receptionist!!! I explained to her that I felt her receptionist treated me rudely. She then was EXTREMELY short with me and wouldn't let me finish a sentence without argumentively interrupting me! Wow, and these people deal with animals??? I understand that people do horrible things like call around to have their animals put down, BUT I WAS NOTONE OF THEM! I will be voicing my experience with anyone I know who is even thinking of switching to this clinic!

Very disappointed :(. I used Dr. Nygard previously, thought she was great, and was very happy to see she had opened a physical clinic. Called this morning to make an appointment for bloodwork for my senior dog and was truly shocked by how I was spoken to. I had barely gotten a sentence out of my mouth before I was yelled at that they "Wouldn't put the dog down, you need to see your own vet"...which was not the reason I was looking for an appointment. I was trying to explain what I was calling about but the woman said they didn't have any appointments available, and hung up on me. I don't even know what to say, except don't bother calling for an appointment :(.
