Central was recommended highly by kennel owner Wendy Kovach ( The Pink Poodle) We were searching for a second opinion for surgery for our 8 yo dog who was in a lot of pain and found Dr Alison Smith at Central ... after 2 visits and some medications and a thoughtful approach our dog underwent a successful surgery! WE are very thankful to the warm and caring staff who guided us through this event. Our dog is dong well, our phone calls and questions are answered professionally , kindly and promptly ... We have been bringing our Lab here ever since he was a puppy and now he is over 11 years old. I wouldn't go any where else. The office is warm and comforting. Both my wife and I have bred Golden Retrievers since 1984. The original dame was from grand champion British stock and Eileen Mulcahy was the only person that tended her and her prodigies that we have kept. Our family has been taking our pet (cats & dogs) to Central Animal for over 15 years and have always recieved great care and service. They've been very accomodating, especially when it came to putting the animals to sleep when the time came. The only 'con' is that they are usually running behind and you have to wait about 15 mins before you are actually called into the exam room. It's a small price to pay for the piece of mind.

My wife's been bringing her 4-legged family members to Central Animal Hospital for over 25 years. In fact, she went in today with our Cocker Spaniel, Sadie. Sadie has spinal and hind leg issues. Dr. Mulcahy was double booked with appointments, and yet she made time to see Sadie. By the way, we just heard that C.A.H. is building and will move to a new facility just up the street. I don't know the time frame.
