My nine year old cat has been a happy patient of Dr. Bohon's for the last year and a half, and we now take our newest kitten to see her as well. I have been nothing short of delighted with my cats' experiences so far and would like to wholeheartedly recommend this animal hospital. Although my older cat has had very few serious issues throughout her life, as an outdoor cat she has seen her share of vet's offices. It is clear to me that Kisa is much happier during her exams with Dr. Bohon than she has been during physicals at our previous animal hospital. Kisa no longer cries, slips around on sweaty paws or hisses during her physical exam. When we come home, she seems perfectly calm and happy - a far cry from how she used to race out of her carrier and hide for hours after a vet visit in the past. While I have been a happy customer at the Animal Hospital of Orleans for over a year, I wanted to write a review because I was particularly impressed with the care that our kitten, Max, received a couple weeks ago. After an awful couple of days of seeing Max limping around, clearly in pain, we rushed him over for an exam and an x-ray to find out what happened to the poor kitten. As it turns out, Max has a congenital issue with his knees that make him particularly prone to injury. I was very impressed with not only Dr. Bohon's knowledge of his condition and possible treatment options, but also with her thoroughness and clarity as she explained his condition and proposed a course of action. Understanding our household's financial constraints, Dr. Bohon laid out several treatments we can try before turning to (very expensive and stressful) surgery. I am very grateful that we were never pressured to consider expensive treatment options for Max when cheaper treatments could succeed - it's hard to think straight when you find out something is wrong with your pet so I am thankful that this practice has its clients' best interests at heart. If you are looking for a place where you can build a long-term, trusting, relationship with friendly and talented people who will be caring for your pets, this is it.

will never go back! the doctor lady would not look me the eyes and obviously either hated her job or hated cats! there were animals crying in the next room where my cat was taken and they must of hit her in the muscle with the shot!
