Dr Mertz and the entire crew at the Wildlife Center and the vets are absolutely outstanding. I can't say enough great things about them. They have taken care of all my exotics for years and have always been gentle, caring, and knowledgeable no matter what the species. EXCELLENT & COMPASSIONATE VET. Dr Mertz saves our chinchilla's life. Previous 2 vets that we saw already told us to put the chinchilla to sleep. Can't thank Dr. Mertz enough for his caring and brilliant diagnosis. I won't trust anyone else when it comes to my chinchilla's health. He really cares about the animal well being, when the other vet just want to take the most $$$.
