Horrendous experience.They have several part time staffers that are apparently misinformed on Dr Tapscott's policies. I was told the first visit was free--Shawsheen Animal Hospital offers the same promotion--and then was charged for the visit. Dr. Tapscott argued I was never told that and still charged me and when I looked at my records folder she provided it was right there in their notes that the visit was promised as free for a 1st time visit. She prescribed drugs at an enormous markup that did not even address the problem that was later fixed by a more competent vet. Warning! Dr. Tapscott will prescribe shampoos and extras for an enormous charge and will make you feel guilty if you refuse them.9 months ago she said my pet had 2 months to live. Thank goodness I changed vets and my pet is still with me.There's a reason she keeps moving around. Run, don't walk in the opposite direction from her and you are sure to find a more competent vet.

Everyone at Best Pets Vet is amazing!! Always kind, professional and loving towards my dog and cat. Dr. Tapscott is outstanding at what she does!! Great care for my pets at an affordable cost.

What a great experience I had at this hospital. My dog was sick and I was in search of a new Vet, I contacted Best Pets and right from my initial phone call my experience was excellent. The staff is caring, happy and very professional. Dr. Tapscott is easy to talk to and listens to your concerns. My dog ended up having surgery and is doing great. I have been a pet owner for over 20 years and have used the same vet for most of those years, if they were not in such flux I would have remained there, but I couldn't stay and I am so thrilled to find a Best Pets to treat my pets!

Dr. Tapscott is beyond WONDERFUL! Our rescue cat Buddy was suffering so badly from either allergies or asthma. She made a HOUSE CALL (hello, this is 2013, right? AMAZING) BUT, she insisted on coming to the house to cause less stress on our beloved four legged family member. She came over and spent over an hour at our house and, worked her magic! Seriously...She was compassionate and so kind to Buddy and, explained everything she was doing to my husband & myself. I cannot express how thankful we are to Dr. Tapscott! I was elated when we got the bill, too! Any pet owner would attest that there is no price tag one can put on your furry friend/family member... BUT, the bill was more than reasonable. Thank you Dr. Tapscott & Best Vets Veterinary Hospital. We wish you all the success in the world - you deserve it!
