I have a veterinarian in my family, but unfortunately, she lives too far away to care for my cat. I was so happy to find Dr. Burbelo so close to home. He treats you and your pets like family and is very professional and courteous. He always follows up with lab work by calling you personally to discuss the results and to make sure you fully understand the implications of the results, and what to do next. Likewise, all the techs that I have dealt with there have been very kind and courteous. I just moved to Towson, but even though I live farther away now, I will gladly continue to make the trip to have them care for my cat. I simply can’t pass up this level of care and courtesy. I just switched over from a different vet office and wow, the experience was very different. Dr. Burbelo and the staff get to know you, where you live and what your pets needs are. I took my dog and cat for their yearly exam. There were new recommendations that were never brought up from my old vet. For example, I didn't know that the Lepto vaccine is recommended especially for city dogs since it is transmitted through rats and feral cats (as well as their urine). Dr. Burbelo also recommended going grain free for both my dog and cat, not because it's a fad but because it has its health benefits - he went through the recommended caloric intake and it just made sense. Additionally, you can see that they truly care and that the staff is looking out for the health of the animal, not just to make a buck. The location is great as well, love that it is accessible. If you're looking for a vet, consider Boston Street!

My experience at Boston St. Animal Hospital was amazing. The entire facility was spotless from the exam rooms to the restrooms. The staff was friendly, informative, and polite. After moving from New York to Maryland I was concerned about finding a new caring Vet. I tried a few others in the area closer to my house but none felt right. Dr Burbelo was great to work with. He didn't make me feel rushed at all; he took his time to explain everything to me as well as suggest some things to prevent issues in the future. Boston St is worth the drive from Silver Spring! Highly recommended!
