BEWARE the RAMAPPA! No, it's not a rare and exotic poisonous snail. It's a very, very, very, very bad veterinarian. He killed my dog. Not on purpose, but he didn't even have the courage to face me after it happened. At best it was incompetence, at worst it was gross negligence. He diagnosed my 7 1/2 year old English Bulldog, Shiner, with behavior problems. Recommended we see a specialist. Shiner could hardly stand up, and he was submissive peeing all over himself. He was clearly in distress. An hour after seeing this vet, Shiner was dead. Ramappa couldn't recognize the symptoms of an animal that was dying. I don't know where he got his degree to practice as a vet, but he clearly wasn't even close to the top of his class. He didn't deserve to graduate; much less get a license. Over the weekend, Ramappa was a fill-in vet for my regular vet who is in the hospital. He obviously didn't want to be at work on a Saturday as the vet staff said they didn't know how long they could get him to stay. He wasn't too eager to treat an English Bulldog either. They are messy dogs to start with, and ours was very ill (as it turned out). Ramappa clearly didn't want to get his hands dirty. He didn't want to touch Shiner during the exam. He jumped to a convenient and fast conclusion to get rid of him as fast as possible. "R" must have had someplace else he'd rather be. After all this, I brought Shiner back to the vet. To make final arrangements for him. "R" refused to return and explain himself to me. Said, "I don't want to deal with an angry customer." Of course, but really he didn't want to deal with the fact that he missed something, made a terrible mistake and a dog died. A dear member of our family. The man is a coward, and an incompetent vet. If you go to a clinic, and they say you are being seen by Mohana Ramappa just say NO! Ask to see a different vet, or go to another clinic. Otherwise, you might be very sorry! I wish there were negative stars! Stay away from this guy, really, really!
