recently moved from Houston Texas to Silver Spring. When in Houston, I had the awesome services of Houston Cat Hospital and Dr. Kathleen Smith there, when they took awesome care of my 3 cats. Being a single guy, my cats are like my children and I want them taken care of very well. And with one of them having various health issues ever since I adopted him, having a great Vet is prime concern for me. I won't go into the details of how I wound up over 30 minutes away (remember, I live in Silver Spring) but suffice it to say, I'm thrilled I did. When I moved, my "sickly" cat was in the middle of a health issue so I had to see someone quickly. Dr. Smith told me what she suggested to solve his issue. When I brought them to see Dr. Rubenstein at A Cat Clinic, she checked him out, called Houston Cat Hospital for a copy of his records, and long-story-short, she came up with a different solution to his issue, which happened to be a bit cheaper too! Mind you, I'll pay what I have to do in order for my babies to be healthy, but it's nice that she didn't just take what Dr Smith had suggested. Even today, I brought all 3 of them in for a nail trim and had asked Dr. Rubenstein if she wanted to examine him, since he's finishing up his antibiotics. She asked if he was doing well, and I said yes and she said that was good enough for her! The entire staff is so sweet, and very accommodating. It's really tough for me since I live so far away, but my cats are worth it. I even got a really nice handwritten card from them once I started going to their clinic signed by the entire staff, welcoming me to their clinic. Very nice touch indeed!

We loved the welcome feeling the staff and hospital at A Cat Clinic provide for our kitties and us! We have seen both Drs. Rubenstein and Mustillo and both have the balance of professionalism and care that we were looking for. Highly recommended for top quality feline care experience.

My cat has always been a nightmare at the vet. I truly appreciate the patience that the staff at A Cat Clinic have with her, and know she's always in good hands!

Dr.Rubenstein is a great doctor. I would recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a great vet for their cat!!!

We had a senior (13+ years) cat that needed some dental work. They handled him with ease and made the decision easy to have the work done. A bit pricy for a pound cat, but we want him arround for a long as possible. Nice for the cats not to have dog smells and noises around when they are recovering or even in the waiting room. Good People, Great Cat People. They care and it shows. We will be using them for all his care now, and that says it all.
