Terrible. It's located in the basement of a house and looks extremely unprofessional. There is a malodorant smell and looks dirty. I brought my 80 pound dog to cut his nails and when herefused to go in, one of the vet tech's was very rude and just watched me struggle. She then coldly said that if I can't bring him in, she can't cut his nails, which I already knew and did not help the situation at all. She spent no effort to help and obviously didn't care. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Go the extra 10 minutes to a place that actually cares about their customers such as Fairland Animal Hospital - they actually helped me carry my dog into the building with 4 people.

We have been bringing our pets (3 dogs and one cat) to George for several years now. He is always very pleasant to work with and gives us honest, quality, timely work. We've never left his office unhappy! His prices are very reasonable too. Please don't hesitate to use Bonifant Animal Hospital!!

While I am very fond of and have a lifelong relationship with my current vet, she is 12 miles and 30 minutes away. With all I've been hearing about the canine flu I finally decided I needed to act. For years I've driven by the Bonifant clinic (3 miles and 5 minutes from my home) and decided to give them a call on Sunday (not expecting a call back until Tuesday since it was Labor Day Weekend). Dr. Vergheese called me back within an hour and said I could come in on Monday. I reminded him that it was a holiday and he said, "that's the benefit of having the clinic in my home." I'd be lying if I said my dog had a great time, but he only had minor complaints :-). I, on the other hand, was totally impressed with Dr. V's bedside manner and his calming nature. I highly recommend Dr. V!

Dr. Verghese and Petra are wonderful with ALL my animals and I have plenty.They treat them with love as if they were their own. The facility is so clean I wish my dr.'s office was that clean. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else and I have been a pet owner my whole life.Both my cat's were Spayed and Neutered there and it was a great experience. As a matter of fact, I adopted them from the ASPCA and I wasn't able to bring home both of them before one of them was "taken care of". I called Dr. Vergheese and I was able to bring my boy kitten in that day and he was neutered!!! I was then able to have both kittens home with me the day I adopted them so they wouldn't have to spend another day in the shelter... How awesome is that!!! Best vet ever!!!

Dr. Vergheese performed a "spaying" surgery on our cat and did NOT remove all of her ovaries. She showed obvious signs of remaining in heat following the procedure and Dr. Vergheese was defiant in his belief that nothing was wrong with her. He and his assistant were extremely rude during our follow up visits where we simply wanted to figure out what was wrong with her. We took her to Nebel Street Animal Hospital in Rockville and they courteously informed us that it was not atypical for cats to have ovarian remnants following a spaying, as Dr. Vergheese suggested. They performed HCG testing (for estradiol levels) and found them to be elevated and subsequently, she had surgery to remove remaining ovarian tissue left in her abdominal cavity by Dr. Vergheese. The office is clean here, but my family has rarely seen any customers in it, which also explains the flexible schedule. Please accept this review as WARNING. Saving $50-$100 on a surgery for your pet is NOT worth it here. Due to the additional testing conducted on our pet, we spent much more $$ alleviating her problem with a better Veterinary practice eleswhere. I'm not sure where Dr. Vergheese gained his training and experience, but please be SERIOUSLY CAUTIOUS taking your pets to him.
