Words cannot describe how much of a great veterinary clinic this is. Our pet chiwawa was sick and given weeks to live at another clinic due to a weak liver, but the second opinion and expert care at Best Friends Veterinary Hospital helped her pull through and our chiwawa is back to her normal antics. -James & Shelley

Dr. Hollifield and her staff are great! They took excellent care of my dog when she was very sick. I won't go to any other Vet after finding Best Friends!

I havent been here for a little less than a year and i was going to let it go, but seriously this is the absolute worst place to go! I can tell you right now that if i had not gone to this pet hospital my chinchilla will be alive right now. One year ago my chinchilla was sick because his teeth got too long so i brought him in to get his teeth trimmed and get some medication. Here is what happened. 1. The doctor looked at him for about 5minutes and then told an unexperienced nurse to come and trim his teeth. 2. She trimmed his teeth and he started bleeding ( i was worried and asked if that is ok) their response was its just a little snip its fine. 3. They offered me VERY little emergency food for a ridiculous price of $14 for a tiny little ziploc bag. 4. They consistantly said oh you can have him stay here and we will feed him for an outrageous price. 5. When i got home i noticed he was not eating at all and was getting worse even after the emergency food and medicine. I checked his teeth and notice he was bleeding and his teeth had completely been cracked open due to uncareful trimming. 6. I went back to have them fix it and they charged me AGAIN for a mistake THEY MADE! 7. It has been almost a year now that our beloved family pet has passed away and they send me a POSTCARD asking me to come back and PAY THEM AGAIN and get a "yearly checkup" Conclusion: Dont bring your pet here unless you dont want them to live anymore, I was lucky to be able to find a better vet after this and was able to give my chinchilla comfort and care he needed for the remaining month of his life. My current vet sent me a card shortly after chaco passed away hand written for comfort while THIS PLACE sent me a postcard AFTER A YEAR asking me for money bringing back my chinchilla they pretty much did not care about.

The doctor is nice enough, i guess. I must say that and the techs seem nice also. I've been here twice and will never go again because of the front des\k person. She is rude and very unpersonable. They never charge what they say, it's usually double what you were told and usually because of something "necessary" if you argue about it, they will 'barter' with you which i found completely unprofessional. Why charge in the first place?? needless to say, WONT BE BACK HERE!

I chanced upon Best Friends when I had an emergency with my parakeet. Dr Holifield was wonderful. My little bird immediately liked her, and she had such a calming effect on him. When I eventually had to put him down, Dr Holifield was so kind and compassionate -- very sensitive my needs as well as my bird's. I wish I could say more. I enthusiasticaly recommend their practice.
