We brought our 6 month Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in at 9:00pm for a suspected eye abrasion. The reception staff were wonderful and very understanding. We saw the doctor almost right away and she was outstanding. She did a great job with our dog. I would never hesitate to bring her back there for any further treatments. Can't recommend them enough.

Took a sick cat in because not eating, and lethargic. Vet examined, and did $150 blood test. No conclusion as to reason for illness, but wanted to admit the cat, and presented us with a projected bill for more than $4000.00. We didn't have the money, so took the cat home with meds. Bill was more than $600.00. Took cat next day to regular vet. She examined the cat and said the liver was enlarged. Ended up euthanizing the cat. The staff at VCA was friendly, and the place was clean. The vets obviously cannot diagnose by physical exam, but need ultrasound and other technology to find the illness. VERY expensive! Would not recommend unless an absolute emergency with an animal in pain.

Lack of compassion and greed. This is the best way I can describe my experience at this hospital. They don't listen to your concerns. They use every tactic possible to get you to run test after test. After you've spent thousands and thousands of dollars they don't even give you 5 minutes to answer questions. This is truly a hospital that is only concerned about getting you in and out and charging you as much as possible. There are other alternatives hospital in the area that offer similar services and they will not charge as much and will treat you and your pet with compassion and respect. I would highly recommend you look at your options before choosing to take your pet to this hospital.

The doctors were very caring and compassionate and took a lot of time to help us with the decisions we needed to make when our cat was ill. Their followup was always thorough and outstanding.I felt very fortunate to have a world class resource like this available to me when we needed it.

Everyone at VCA was wonderful! The front desk staff, the Techs, Doctors, Office Staff, and everyone behind the scenes were just awesome. We went there for an emergency for one of my four cats. They assessed him right away. I thank Dr. Manhart for noticing something in an x-ray that was unrelated to why he was there in the first place. She decided to take a full x-ray to see the rest of what she saw. That was the beginning to saving his life. She treated him for the original symptoms and kept him so that the cardiologist could see him the next day. From there the cardiologist gave him meds, sent him home, and referred us to another doctor who recommended surgery (which was pretty much our only choice in this case). A friend of mine who happened to have a different issue with her cat but needed surgery also a few weeks before recommended the surgeon she had. Well, I owe both my friend and Dr. Snakard (the surgeon) a huge thank you!! They were the last steps to saving the life of my boy. I owe them the world!! Thank you, VCA!!
