I have been going to Doctor Anderson for about 6 years and he is wonderful. I have never had a bad experience and all of the people are wonderful. They have helped us above and beyond.
I didn't even bother going in. Just talking to the receptionist was a bad experience! There is no way to express in words the way they treated me over the phone. The young lady on the phone was rude and seems to give little interest in my concern. If the phone conversation is any indication of their service then I can only imagine what it would be like when I'm actually there! That experience alone turned me away.
This doctor and staff are awesome! We showed up here with a emergency and was taken care of immediately. Dr. Anderson doesn't work for the money, he works with the animals! Here is truly the best, most sincere, and with out any doubt the most honest vet I have ever known. He and his staff are above any you would expect. Thank you Dr. Anderson and staff! I have been going to Waugh Chapel Animal now for over 10 years. All the vets are caring and very helpful. I have 4 dogs and I trust them with their lives. They work with you, if something happens they are always a phone call away. I had one dog go down in his hide legs 8 years ago and they worked so fast to get me to a another Vet that did his surgery within an hour. Dr. Andersen, Dr. Shedan and Dr. Patty are wonderful caring people. The staff is the best also. thanks so much for helping my furkids
BEST VETERINARIAN EVER!!! 5 stars is NOT ENOUGH!!! I took my dalmation to Waugh Chapel after our former vet ignored my multiple pleas for further blood tests and x-rays to determine the cause of his UTI's and his widening chest cavity. Dr. Anderson and the staff at Waugh Chapel immediately addressed my concerns, with both blood tests and x-rays, and my worst fears were confirmed by their immediate discovery of bilateral kidney cancer and an abdominal mass the size of a grapefruit. Dr. Anderson spent nearly an hour with us, explaining everything in detail, our treatment options, the prognosis, and what we could do for him to make him comfortable for his remaining time with us. Due to the nearly criminal negligence of our previous vet and the voracious nature of the cancer, he was in mid-stage cancer and past the point of surgery. With Dr. Anderson and the staff's support, we made the decision to keep him as comfortable as we could for as long as we could. Despite our collective effort, in only six weeks past, he began to deteriorate, and we made the the hardest decision any of us had ever made, we loved him and didn't want him to be in pain anymore, so we let him go. The staff at Waugh Chapel did everything they could to help, in those six weeks, I was on the phone with Dr. Anderson or a member of the staff sometimes more than five times in a day, several times came in multiple times a day to get new medications and fluids, and each time they were helpful and supportive. They fit us in at the end of the day several times when there were no available appointments, and twice a member of the office staff stayed after hours (as much as an hour after they closed on a weekend) just so I could pick up medication for him. They called to check in on us on the good days, and even gave me a 24 hour emergency number to reach help just in case. When we brought him in on his final day, they did everything they could to lessen our pain and help us face our loss, giving us as much time as we needed, and respectfully handling his remains. They were even kind enough to call and check on us a few days after, and we shortly received a handwritten card expressing their condolences. I don't know how we could have faced his illness without their informative and helpful support. I can't recommend them enough, they were WONDERFUL! it took me several years to find a great vet, but it was well worth it. if you do make an appointment, ask for Dr. Anderson personally, all of the vet's there are WONDERFUL. i have worked with horses professionally for over a decade and as a result, many vets, and i believe Dr. Anderson may be the finest veterinarian i have ever seen. if i move across the country next year for grad school, I will fly back here rather than ever take one of my pets to another vet, and i really hate flying.
