Trying to arrange for a dog to transfer to this country has been a complete obstinate mess. Every contact has been met with a reason why someone couldn't help "wedding", "out", "not here", "we're waiting for papers from elsewhere". All of these comments are backed up with the phrase that they talked with their supervisor. No one in the organization wore a name tag nor told me their name until a month into this fiasco. The first name I was aware of occurred only of late so I couldn't say who directed me thus and who said what when. Each communication has been met with a different explanation of the requirements I must meet. I have complied completely with all requirements of a responsible pet owner. The file on the dog in question had a sensationalized internet publication in it. I did not see the copy of the police report which I would consider as less biased and more responsible source of information. After over a month of them working on this case I was asked about the rabies status. This information and more was provided weeks prior. So if you see those sad faces and wailing pleas to be taken to a good home it is not me who is keeping this from occurring.

I recently moved to the area and I went in to get licenses for my 2 dogs. My 17 year old cat had passed away about a year ago, and I was beginning to consider adopting another cat. I asked in passing about the adoption process, and I ended up leaving with a beautiful senior male cat! The staff are so helpful and you can feel that they genuinely care about the animals. They were so thrilled that he was going home with us, and we were too!
