Outstanding staff that treat your pet and you with the utmost care and compassion. Both Dr Edward Jendrek and Dr Andrew Jendrek have looked after my pets for many years now and I will continue to turn to them when my cats need attention. Both father and son provide skilled care and offer solutions based on a wealth of animal knowledge. I trust all of them without question - and, apparently, so do my cats. My five-year old male cat had been suffering with a severe urinary infection. In obvious distress, he was hiding under the bed or on top of the cabinets - places he goes to when he is stressed. He was, again, having a problem so I called and made an appointment for the next morning. I awoke wondering how I was going to get him from his refuge spots when I discovered he was already in his carrier, ready to go. My cat instinctively knew the carrier means vet, and the vet means help, If he places that kind of trust in the kind and wonderful people at Carney Animal Hospital, you should too!

Carney Animal Hospital is the best- I've been taking my pets there for over 20 years, The staff there is top notch, the vet tech's are wonderful,dedicated, and do great follow-up's. Dr. Ed Jendrick & Dr. Andrew are the caring and compassionate vets you really need when your furry family member is in distress. They take the time to explain every procedure, from a basic check-up to major surgery,your questions are answered. You're not rushed here,they and won't fill you with unrealistic expectations, If they feel a specialist is needed they won't hesitate on referring you to one, and you'll always have lots of support from everyone. I like to especially credit Dr. Ed and Karen (vet tech) with this -my "miracle" rescue dog. He came to me infested with heartworms and a very poor prognosis, Against all odds,( and a whole lot of special care) they saved his life. It doesn't get better than that!

Best vet care in the state. Honest, friendly, great customer service, etc. Tried 2 other local vets (Beltway Animal Hospital & Perring Animal Hospital) before this one, but will stick with Carney Animal Hospital forever. Any negative reviews on here are ridiculous and out of line. Carney Animal Hospital is very compassionate and customer service oriented.

Dr. Andrew Jendrick and his father, Dr. Ed, have been my little Schnauzer Frida's guardian angels since we came to live in the US 3 years ago. Not just them, but all those who work there (specially Jen) have always made sure that Frida is always healthy, and that I improve my knowledge of how to take better care of her. They saved her life last year, and no matter how many times I call them or show up without notice: there will always be a kind response to my concerns and inquiries. I "secretely" call Dr. Andrew "St. Andrew of Asisi"... He just loves those little furry things!!!! I would not change them for anything!!!
