We took our dog there in the summer of 2011 when she was having a reaction to some medication from our local vet. Pets ER was amazing. They were very fast in getting her checked in and getting her in to see a vet. I was actually surprised how quick they were and I was also surprised it didn't cost more! Any time we need after-hour vet care, this is the place we recommend to everyone in the area.

Courteous staff, but seemed a little short-handed when we arrived. Only one vet on staff that night and was in surgery, so we waited more than an hour to be seen. Everyone was incredibly apologetic and friendly, and we completely understood the reason for the wait. When we were finally seen, our dog was quickly diagnosed and treated. Fees were modest, though there is a $100 examination fee (that they readily mention upfront). If we ever need emergency pet care again, we won't hesitate to visit.

Money can sometimes be an issue in the Pet world. It was for us. BUT, I can honestly say, this Pet ER had the most compassion I've ever seen when it come to a pet emergancy. Rachel and her crew and doctors here, helped, were kind, and from the bottom of their hearts cared. I felt it in my heart. A huge thank you to a class a business. The time and phone calls given to me with updates, and idea's on how to pay were endless. We, Zimbee's family, thank you! Zimberbutt is a good old, tough boy! He thanks you too!

We took our cat, who was clearly having some abdominal pains, here on a Thursday evening and saw Dr. Drewer. She and the entire staff were top notch! Of the vets that we have tried on th Eastern Shore (Dr. Drewer is the fourth), I am the most pleased with the treatment that we and our pet received from her and her staff. I've been to my fair share of veterinary ERs: they're all expensive. Naysayers ding this outfit for their cost but there's a premium to getting treatment for your pet at odd times of night.
