I needed my dog's rabies vaccination on short notice due to vacation falling on it's due date and couldn't get in with our regular vet. I found this place and called and they had an immediate opening the next day so I booked it...now I regret not catching those obvious signs. We arrived to find it's a vet office in the located in the bottom of a home, it's locked and had to wait on him to answer the door. There is NO STAFF, just the veterinarian who does the paper work, phone lines, computer and everything. He was okay, and he did do our vaccinations, but I had to restrain my own dog. Normally, I wouldn't mind, but I had my young son with me. A second staffer would have been MORE than helpful, he took three phone calls while we were in the exam room! He was okay, but I won't be going back. With a limited staff and equipment, I would've expected more competitive pricing at least, but he was just as expensive as a full service veterinary clinic.

This place is awful...I took my cat to get spade here because I received a certificate from the county and Foxhall was one of three vets that were approved and on the list. This vet is located in the bottom of a man's house and its not very clean. In addition, he was the only one working in his "office". It is true that he shook the crate to get my cat out. When I came to pick her back up he informed me that he she had been pregnant with what was a "spec" of a baby - his words not mine. My cat is an indoor cat and has never been outside or around another cat so how that is possible i have no idea. He charged me almost $300.00 with the certificate and sent me on my way. In addition, my cat got very sick...she was foaming at the mouth and her mouth was ajar and when I called him to ask what was going on he told me something was most likely lodged in her throat. I was scared and asked if i could bring her in and he told me that he was not currently open and I would have to wait until tomorrow. It turned out there was nothing in her throat and that he gave her to much Anesthesia for her size. I was so irritated with him that I refused to take her back there to have her stitches removed and I took her to our regular vet. I also wrote a letter to the county telling them that he needed to be removed from the list. DO NOT GO TO HIM.

First, when I show up the door is locked even though there was a big OPEN sign on it. When the woman finally came to unlock it she wouldn't hold the door open for me even though I had the very heavy cat carrier in my hands. Then, they had a kitten wandering around the dark, unwelcoming lobby. This wasn't good because my cat was scared as it was and he does not like other animals. PLUS, what if I had a pet dog?!?! As for the vet, he tried to get my cat out of his carrier by shaking it upside down and acted as though it was dumb for my cat to be scared. He also treated me like I was an idiot without any compassion for my feelings. My cat is like my baby and the vet should have understood that I was just as stressed as my poor little cat. On top of all that, all I wanted was his annual vaccines but without asking the vet gave him a shot for "dry skin" and then could not give him his annual shots after that. He asked me to come back in two weeks but I will NOT. I will find somewhere else to get his annual vaccines. I do not recommend going here.
