We bring our dog here for his routine checkups and the doctors are all very knowledgeable and really explain things clearly. They've always been thorough and fantastic. I credit our dog's long and healthy/happy life to Airpark Animal Hospital!

We have been using this practice for nearly 10 years now. The Doctors and Staff have always been professional and compassionate. We have recommended them to other Giant Breed owners and they have been the official vet for several rescue organizations we've worked with over the years. We will be hard pressed to find another Vet practice as good as this one when we move out of the region.

This vet has really gone down hill over the last few years. I used to come here with all of my pets (Yorkies, cats) until I brought in a 1 lb teacup yorkie for his puppy shots and well check. WITHOUT any concern, they gave him a 7 way vaccine which contains the same amount of drug that they would give to a 50lb dog. My yorkie almost died. We immediately called Airpark, and they promptly saw him, but then charged me approx 300.00 to give him drugs to counteract the toxic reaction rather than admit that they had done wrong. Recently, our family cat that was almost 20 years old began to shut down. I called and asked them for advice, they said do what you want however we charge 200+ for putting an animal to sleep. I couldnt believe it! I called the Carroll County Humane Society and they were incredibly compassionate and ended up putting himi to sleep for 40.00. Since these incidents, I have transferred my business to another local vet but just to show a difference. My older yorkie, now 12 years old, has epilepsy. He is checked every year for his potassium bromide levels. Airpark has gone up so much in price that they now charge almost 130.00 for this simple test. When I asked why it had gone from 90.00 to 130.00, they said that was how much they were being charged by the lab facility. This is actually not true. My new vet does the exact same test and sends to the identical lab for 107.00. It seems to me that they are just gouging their clients.

many procedures contraindicated and dangerous to your pet. READ THE INTERNET ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY PUSH FOR A PROCEDURE. THE MORE THEY PUSH, THE MORE YOUR RED FLAGS SHOULD GO UP! SOME PROCEDURES ARE BANNED IN SOME PLACES but bring good income to them, obviously. BE CAREFUL! KNOWLEDGE IS YOUR ONLY WEAPON-DON'T EXPECT MEDICAL HONESTY! They're nice, well equipped but the past 3 procedures were 100% against recommendations (hindsight), wasting hard earned money while endangering my pets. Now I can't undue what they've done. Never again!

They are always great and everyone truly seems to love animals. Every vet I have seen has been really good. No complaints and seem to know their stuff.
