Office smells like urine and is disgusting. I mean come on at least have the courtesy to take care of your own office. Not sure how the employees can stand it.
The staff is wonderful and I was very pleased with Dr. Bonnie. I have a dog who is very fearful of most people and when the doctor got down onto the floor to greet and pet him, it put me and my dog at ease. He even gave her a kiss, and since he never does that it sealed the deal for me- we will be back. I am surprised by these posts that say its dirty.. it's obvious they have been around for awhile and they do have a lot of cats but it was clean & smelled lemony to me. I thought all of the girls there were very nice and got a special kick out of one of their cats that acted like a greeter and came right up to say hello to me and my dog. All I can say is i felt comfortable there, and what's most important to me is so did my dog. We love White Marsh Animal Hospital and Dr. Bonnie!
We have been taking our dog and two cats there for almost 5 years now. Dr. Bonnie has been amazing with them. As other reviewers point out, she loves to get down on the floor with the dogs to play with and love on them before she does any poking and prodding. She has rescued more animals than one can count including taking some into her own home. She even pays out of pocket to let the ones she knows she will never be able to find forever homes for (because they are ill) live right there in the office - maybe the reason it isn't the cleanest. She has an amazingly big heart for the animals she treats as do all of her staff members. She is always booked with appointments, so those owners that feel she is rude may just be misinterpreting her quick services as being rude.
The staff and vet are very rude, The vet has a attitude problem, she is very rude, and doesn't know how to talk to people. We tried to ask questions and she ignored us and started talking to our dog. Also need to be aware the always seem to recommend very expensive treatments. I read about this consumer reports, They recommend very expensive food, treatments, and other things you really don't need, to lower their overhead and to squeeze every dime they can out of you. They also sold us expired medicine and the place is dirty and smells bad. the best advise i can give is to stay away from White Marsh Animal Hospital. to put it frankly THEY SUCK!!!!!!
Just left this hospital holding my nose. The entire place reeks of cat pee and it is dirty and unimpressive. The doctor might be nice but I wasn't impressed with her at all. She looked like a tech filling in for a doctor and I was curious to see her license but didn't ask. She wanted to sell me a ton of medicines and then send me to a specialist because she thought my dogs ears were too far gone from food allergies. She wanted to sell me a special diet. She completely focused on food allergies and nothing else. She gave her a shot of corteone and said that might help. She did not swab the ear or do much other than look and say I needed to take her to a specialist. I left and did not wait around to pick up all the meds. I will send them a check for the visit but never go there again. I left the office and went up the street to the cleaniest and friendliest animal hospital I have ever been to. They looked at my dogs ears, swabbed them and looked under a microscope and sent me home with one medicine to treat a yeast infection and said the ears were infected but not so severe that they could not be treated. They really need to clean up the office and get rid of the stink.
