I first brought my new cat to this vet last January. I wanted a routine exam done and they didn't even touch her! How do you do an exam without touching the animal? I also wanted her ears checked and a blood test done, and I had to ask them to have it done. It should be automatic during a routine visit. When I got my puppy in July I brought him there for his first exam and vaccinations. The exam was the same lines as my cats. Not a lot of physical contact, they didn't do any fecal/routine blood tests. We wanted him to be vaccinated as well, (Which they didn't bring up or recommend) and they did the rabies alone, they didn't bring up other important vaccinations like lepto, lyme, or kennel cough. When he was older we wanted to give him a lyme vaccine, they REFUSED to do it. They stated that lyme doesn't present until 6 months after being infected, so they refused to give the vaccine until he was atleast 6 months! That makes no sense! Why wait until it can actually present and become systematic to vaccinate? I swear these people have never heard of PREVENTATIVE medicine. Refusing to give a vaccine is unacceptable for a DVM. They also ran consistently late for my exam times. I will not be returning here. I am much happier at my new vet Annabessacook Animal Hospital in Monmouth

The staff and the doctors have always treated me and my pets extremely well. They'll go out of their way to make sure I'm completely satisfied. Prices are very fair. I won't bring my pets anywhere else.
