I wanted to take a moment to thank Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Service in Allen Park. We had scheduled our regular vet to come to our home on Monday to euthanize our beloved cat. Suddenly on Sunday night he became much worse and we were forced to take him to an emergency vet, the last thing I wanted to do. The staff couldn't have been more compassionate and kind. Dr Rocket and Beth the Tech and even the lady at the front desk, sorry I don't know her name, were beyond wonderful. They even made a pawprint for me to keep. It ended up being a very peaceful end for Bob and it was because of the kindness of the people there. What a beautiful gift to give someone. Thank you.
Very friendly staff. Never fun needing emergency pet care, but these ladies did an excellent job of taking care of my pooch. Knowledgeable and professional. Hope we don't need to go back, but if we do, no hesitation. Thanks for the kind service.
This was the worst experience I ever had at any vet. We were in there for 6 hours in the most uncomfortable waiting and exam rooms anywhere. My back will probably hurt all week. Plastic molded chairs would have been a blessing after those abominable wooden benches. Someone else came in 3 hours after us, with the same complaint ailing her pet, but she was out in less than half the time. I don't know why her and her pet got such preferential treatment. I'm glad they helped my pet, but I will never give them my business again, nor recommend them to anyone else. At the very least, they are way understaffed, and don't care about people at all.
We are open 24/7/365 to help you and your pet when you need us most. We see primarily dogs and cats for problems ranging from relatively simple such as broken nails all the way to complex medical cases such as diabetes and pancreatitis. We will work with your vet to ensure your pet receives the best care possible.
The staff was really kind and caring, and and they clearly loved animals. I was really impressed with the physical exam that they gave our kitty. Sunshine was a feral kitten and is very skittish around people outside her home, but she really warmed up to the vet. It was a good experience, she told us what to watch for, and it was money well spent.
