We are new to the Big Rapids area. The first time we brought our dog in for grooming our leash was given to another custmer, no big deal at the time, honest mistake. The second time was for grooming. The dog was returned and his nails were not trimmed. The third time was for boarding. We were told one price based on weight and given an option for pick up time. We picked our dog up and now the price doubled based on the time we picked him up. We were never given pricing options at all. Called and spoke to Jimmy the office Manager. He apologized but never offered a refund. He said "sir you never asked for a refund". Really I have to request good customer service to receive it. I guess I was expecting the customer service skill level of a Manager to be higher then what I received.WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!

For the little bit of a drive from Big Rapids this place is more than WORTH IT! My adopted husky/retriever dog was tested for heart worm and 3 months later had a severe case of heart worm it apparently got "undetected". With the suggestion of 6 months of pills and cage rested from a different, older vet I gave this place a try for a second opinion. Because of his younger age (3 yrs) and further tests, the vet felt comfortable with an alternative treatment of a one type shot and an overnight stay. They were MORE than exceptional, loving, and caring to him and then one month later I had my active running partner back! :) Since then each vet was top notch and treated him as my kid, moving back home from school is going to be hard to find as great of a place! We miss you..

A great clinic. They were very friendly. Service was prompt and affordable. Dr. Jim gave my 10-year old dog a very thorough exam and offered easy to understand advice on her ailment and how to treat it. Now that we're moving to the area, these folks are my new vets :)

Wonderful vet! I have two male cats, and I got one of my them neutered at Riversbend last year and regularly get their flea and tick medication there also. After calling around, Riversbend was just a few dollars more expensive than some of the other veterinarians in Big Rapids, but the woman who reserved his appointment was so friendly and knowledgable that I chose Riversbend. Every time I stop in to pick up Revolution, everyone is so wonderful and friendly! The few extra dollars was MORE than worth it because I'm so pleased with this office! I'm a college student so I don't have a lot of money to spend on medications, the wonderful clerk offered me a syringe and a higher dose of flea medicine to split between the two boys. Now they are safe and healthy and free of ticks and fleas and I can afford to keep them that way! Thank you, Riversbend Animal Clinic! I
