I called today to schedule a neutering appointment for my kitten that I purchased from a cattery and he’s up to date on all his shots. In order to for them to neuter my kitten they still wanted to give him a distemper shot and a rabbi shot. My kitten has never been outside, so I don’t know why a rabbi shot is even necessary. Distemper is so long gone off the face of the earth it’s like giving a kid a polio shot. I’ve had so many bad experiences with this veterinarian with my last cat I don't why I even called them. It just reminded me of the past experiences that I had with them. They misdiagnosed my last cast too many times. He passed away at the age of seven. This place is only about the money and not the care of your pet.

I've had two dogs under Dr. Demetriou's care -- and I have to say, I'm VERY impressed with her ministrations. She's very knowledgeable, quick to explain anything she's doing or I'm not aware of -- and most of all, the bill doesn't inflate just sitting in the examining room. If you tell her you're there just for an exam, she has no problem with it -- and will make recommendations -- versus taking it upon herself to do things just to make your visit more expensive. Overall, 5 out of 5. She's better than a LOT of "people" doctors! ;]

I resuced 3 kitten from sure death in a barn up north, hand feed got fixed and shots on needed a $300 surgery for a hurenia and now one has an eye infection so I called them to see if there was any thing they could do to help with the cost of a office vist or do a payment plan with me and they turned me away, so yes it is all about the money at this vet, its rather sad that some one who love animals so much will turn one away over $45 after all the money already spent.

I just took our rabbit to Dr. Demetriou for his first check-up. I was reluctant, because I've heard so many stories of vets trying to talk pet owners into expensive and unnecessary treatments. Dr. Demetriou was great! She was prompt, efficient, and gave me the info I needed with no hard sell. Overall, I very pleasant experience!
