I really love this vet, but I gave them 4 stars only because there is usually a long wait time. However, the staff is fantastic. My dog is rather shy, but she took to the doctors and techs immediately. They are wonderful with her. They are very gentle and do an excellent job of explaining things. They probably need to hire more staff or handle their scheduling better, but I continue to go there anyway because I love the staff, and, to me, that's worth the wait. One reviewer said he noticed a bad smell in there, but I've been there for several appointments and have never smelled a bad odor. The place is always extremely clean. They do usually have a candle burning and they do sell those candles - and they smell amazing. We've purchased some. Pets have odors and candles help. That's just a fact.

I was driving down the street and saw the advertisment about dog baths and grooming. I live in the area and decided to go in and check them out. There was a strong odor in the building and they had a candle burning as if to cover the odor. I notice they were sellling the candles as well. It took the staff 17mintues to actually wait on me. They appeared to be understaffed because the receptionist was doing all the work by her self, she kept running back and forth and appeared to be very unhappy and I saw one Veternarian come out and talk to one of the pet owners. I overheard a few of the people in the lobby saying how terrible the service had gotten and they use to have great service and it was time to look for another Vet clinic. After hearing that conversation and the horrible smell I walked out and decided this would not be a place for my pets.

I love them a freakin lot.

went here and no was there to rang the bell and yelled in the back i could hear someone in back never came to the desk to help me

I was traveling to Florida for the holidays and bringing my cat Lady, with me. I had to take her to the vet for a physical before she could board the plane with me. While I was at Garden City Veterinary vet, I asked them to clean her ears. The next morning, I had to take Lady to an emergency vet because she was falling down and crying and not acting her self. The emergency doctor diagnosed that her ears were cleaned improperly causing an inflammation of her ear drum which controls her stability and motor skills. I just wanted to let people know.
