I have taken my dogs to 8th Street Vetrinary Care for the past decade at least. The staff is amazing!!! They take their time with you at each appointment to ensure all your questions are answered. They truely care about you and your pet. I will continue to use them in the future!

Such a wonderful place! Dr. Withers was so kind when we had to make the choice to put our cat down. That type of compassion is needed and appreciated during such a hard time. There is no other vet I would rather take my pets to. I've had to go on multiple occasions, and I never have to wait long. The office is very clean, and Miss Kitty is a wonderful greeter. The pricing is very reasonable, the staff are very nice, and the care my pets have received (both cats and dog) has been excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this organization to anyone.

I am a breeder of Scottish Terriers. Dr. Withers has been our veterinarian for many years now. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable. He listens to our concerns and respects our knowledge of the breed. He keeps up-to-date and is willing to refer to specialists when necessary. He has handled several emergencies for us, one on Christmas Day, for which I will be eternally grateful. His staff is friendly, and very skilled. I am VERY particular about which veterinarian I use--Dr. Withers meets our VERY high and exacting standards. I cannot recommend him too highly.

The rescue agency we adopted our first cat from already had her registered with Dr. Withers, so we decided to keep her there and took our new kitten there as well... we have not regretted for a moment! Dr. Withers is always very thorough and detailed, very good about explaining to us about what he's doing and why. Our kitten had a respiratory infection that had to be treated before we could spay her, and Dr. Withers made sure we knew the reasoning behind every decision and recommendation he made regarding our kitty's health. The staff is always very genuine and takes a personal interest in the animals and their care. Not to mention, the prices have always been very fair. Granted we are new pet owners with not a lot of experience but we have never felt we were being overcharged or taken advantage of. All in all, you couldn't ask for more in a veterinary practice!

I was referred to Eighth St. by my boss when I first moved to Kalamazoo. At the time I had a very elderly cat who meant to the world to me. Dr. Withers was amazingly empathetic to both of us and treated my emotional attachment to my cat very respectfully. When the time came to put her down, he came all the way out to my house so that I could be with her in the privacy of my own home. I will never forget that. Eighth Street has my business for life!
