Patterson is THE very best in affordable local veterinary care. My dogs have been patients for over 14 years, and we could NOT be more pleased with the facilities, staff, and affordability. No appointment necessary, although wait times at peak hours may be long due to the high demand and quality of care.
Our cat wasn't doing too well - experiencing lethargy (sleeping more than usual), change in appetite, mood, and bathroom uses. When we took him in, the wait was short. When we saw the vet, he listened to the symptoms we had noticed, and gave us a couple of options. He was polite, and gentle with our feline. He gave him a shot and flea treatment, rounding the total to $73. By comparison of other vets, it was definitely a reasonable price. Our cat was back to normal by the next morning. Would definitely recommend Patterson Veterinary Hospital, and already have to a few of my friends.
Prior to learning about Patterson Veterinary Hospital, I would have to make appointments, and my bills would average $100+. Since going to Patterson, my vet bills average $40, give or take. I've taken both my cat and my dog, the wait for a walk-in wasn't bad, and my kids (my pets) are very happy and healthy! The staff is very friendly, and all sincere lovers of animals. I highly recommend this place.
This place is fantastic!!!! I was in and out in 30 minutes, and it only cost me $55 for an office visit, antibiotic, aspirin, and a few cans of food for my cat (they also have their prices posted clearly everywhere). This would have cost me 3-4 times as much at my vet, and I would have waited for over an hour. This is my vet from now on, if you are willing to wait a little while, this place is well worth it for the low cost and high quality of pet care. Hooray! No more $200 vet bills for routine care, I LOVE this place!
Dr. Patterson's office is a great place to take your pet. They truly care about your animal and will not try to charge you more money by running unecessary tests. Dr. Patterson has been a practicing vet for years, so he is very knowledgable. In addition, he truly cares about your pet and is not greedy like most other vet's offices. He does not even charge an office visit and is willing to work with you on costs (if need be). If you have an emergency or concern you can leave a message on the office's answering machine and Dr. Patterson or someone from his staff will contact you promptly. They even call to follow up with you and your pet to make sure everything is going okay. They give advice free over the phone too. The only slightly negative thing I could say is the office hours are kind of funky. But you just have to call ahead for their hours and make sure to get there as early as possible to avoid a long wait (since animals are taken on a "first come, first serve basis" and according to need). But ,the odd hours and the wait are so very worth it to have your animals seen by this vet. I would never take my dogs anywhere else.
