The worst vet experience ever. I went to get a second opinion about euthanizing my aging dog. Dr. Frye was very unprofessional and just up and left during the exam and did not return to answer all of my questions. I was left with the vet tech who was remarkably uncompassionate and smelled strongly of cigarettes.
Our first visit was pretty good, a usual check up and vaccinations. We walked out with an estimate for a neuter and micro chip. The day of our dogs appointment the vet tech gave us a completely different estimate that included some vaccinations that were not aforementioned. What's the purpose of an estimate when it doesn't accurately reflect what you'll pay? The vet tech also offended and insulted us by saying we needed "to be careful" about going to the Humane Society. Our previous dog got excellent care there and we euthanized him their at the end of his life, we didn't feel we were ready to go back there just yet. We chose Milan Area Animal Hospital and were rather disappointed. Furthermore, none of our previous vets ever said anything about being careful about taking our animals to Milan. We will be returning to the Humane Society and we know our pet will be cared for and we will be treated respectfully. I do want to add that the front desk staff at Milan was very nice and friendly.
