I had called to see if I could bring in a stray cat for some x-rays for his foot because he had been limping. The lady that answered the phone puts me on hold for 15 min. Hung up and called back. The lady answeres and says can you hold. I told her I have been on hold for 15 min already. She says that I am very busy, So I said well you can atleast get back on to let people know you have not forgot about them. She starts yelling saying she has 5 other customers that i am trying to deal with so your just going to have to wait. VERY RUDE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Well maybe they should try hiring another person to help or GET SOMEONE ELSE. I also work for a company answering phones, getting prices, dealing with walk in customers, I would never speak to any of my customers like that even when I do get over whelmed.
Long wait.. Too Many people.. Just a business- No love, :( It was expensive too. It was close to where I was living. I had tried them once. Found better vet's!
Dr. Fitz is a WONDERFUL WARM HEARTED VET! For all those reading the prior negative reviews.. I don't understand where they are coming from. The office receptionist is nice and Dr. Fitz is a great Vet. I have a German Shepherd with a thyroid problem and she has been wonderful with keeping me calm and figuring this out! ***UPDATE*** I am NOT changing the star review, because that would not be fair to Dr. Fitz. But I had the LOVELY encounter with this awful receptionist everyone was speaking of. (I had always had a nice, soft spoken lady check me out) UNTIL my latest encounter. She is RUDE, BRASH, OBNOXIOUS, and CANNOT multi-task if she had to! If I have another similar expierence anywhere near my last..I might consider finding a new Vet (Dr. Fitz has to know how awful she is?!) WOW!
I had been going to this vet for years, until they changed owners. I had called to make an appt and they had left me on hold for 20 mins. When I told the lady at the desk that it was too long of a wait she began to yell at me. Telling me "what do you expect me to do?" in a very rude tone. Well for one, she could have taken my number and called me back if she was that busy!! So I told her I would pick up my dogs papers and take him somewhere else. When I went to get the papers, she began screaming at the top of her lungs (with people wating in the office by the way). "I'M BUSY AND I DON'T HAVE TIME TO BE BOTHERED BY PHONE CALLES." Then I stated that I would like to speak to the doctor and she said "FINE, YOU CAN WAIT UNTIL 4PM TO SPEAK TO HER." (It was 12pm at that time). As I sat down, she told me to "GET UP OR I AM GOING TO CALL 911." I didn't say anything as I was leaving and she said " GO TO HELL." Needless to say, this place is awful!!! I can tell by the other reviews that the doctor is just as bad as the front desk staff. They seem to think that the answer to everything is calling the cops, as other customer said they threatned the same thing. Maybe they should think about adding some kindness to their practice. I hope this place goes out of business because if they treat their human clients like this I would rather not think about what they do with the furry patients when their owners are not around! DO NOT GO HERE!! If you do, I hope your animals are ok when they come home...
this is the worst vet I have ever been to. They are very rude, and charge to much. They had my sister in tears when she took a barn cat in to get looked at. Told her that she shouldnt have animals if she going to let them run wild. They should keep thier opinions to themselfs!
