Nearly a year ago, our dog lost all feeling in his back legs. When he walked, both his back legs dragged behind him. We took him to see Dr. Grewal. She was so kind and compassionate. His condition was so bad that surgery was the only viable option. Surgery by a neurologist would cost $5,000! We were faced with the very difficult decision of having to put our beloved Corky down because we simply didn't have that kind of money. Dr. Grewal mentioned that she was just completing her training in acupuncture, and would be willing to try it if that was something we were willing to consider. I new nothing about acupuncture but decided we had nothing to lose. She kept him comfortable with pain medication, and began the treatments. That was almost a year ago. Today he is as spunky as any other healthy 9 year old dog, and last month he actually jumped up on the couch for the first time in almost a year! I am SO thankful for the compassionate care that he has received by Dr. Grewal and the staff at Northville Animal Hospital!
