Recently called them for pricing on neutering of 4 month old kitten they had never seen. Was told he would have to exam first before they would agree to do the surgery on him, fair enough. However, when I asked that they put their health exam findings on paper for me to have as part of his health record, I was told that they don't normally do that, and that if I had a vet than normally would put their health exam findings on paper to go ahead and use them. I was offered a Health Certificate (for an additional charge, which allows the cat to be flown), but this was unnecessary, since this kitten wasn't flying anywhere.

Dr. Seger is very kind and compassionate.

I am very disappointed in the carelessness of this clinic. I brought my beloved cat in for a general check-up and they completely missed a lump on his back. When I discovered it the next day and called them, I asked if I could bring him back in under the original office visit. They said that they would check in to this and call me back. After a few days and after no call back, I called them. Same thing - they said they would check in to this and call me back. After a few more days and no call, I called them and they said it would be a completely new office visit. I was frustrated at that response and declined. In all fairness, they did call me back and offer for my cat to come in under the original office visit, but I declined becaue I felt they should have offered that from the beginning.

Dr. Seger is personable and friendly enough, but I would not recommend her as a surgeon. I had a female kitten spayed and she came back with a very large incision, quite unlike the small keyhole incision on her house mate done by another surgeon. Prices for shots and checkups seemed to be high compared to what I was used to.
