When I read the negative review, I felt like I had to post one! I would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat. I have, well had, 4 pets going to this clinic (2 dogs 2 senior cats). I recently just had to put a senior cat down and they were so respectful and professional, giving us all the time we needed for goodbyes. As far as the pups go, the staff is always excited to see them and love them up. My dogs LOVE to go there! The vet techs are so nice and laid back. I have more experience with Dr.Dan and Dr.Shea, and they are both professionals. They love your animals! They listen to your concerns, offer solutions or resources, and always have time for questions. I feel like they give you options and are not judgemental. They never push anything on me or try and sell me anything like the woman stated before...We live very close to them, but even after we move, I'm sure we'll make the trek to see them! Addendum-I received a sympathy card yesterday with a note from the entire staff...I mean really?! how sweet is that?! It had be crying like a baby again, but it is gestures like that, that create lifetime clients/customers. Thanks to BCVC for being so great!

We've been taking all of our animals here for over 5 years (we've got 3 dogs and a cat now). I cannot praise the staff enough for all they do. They absolutely love their job and the animals and it shows in everything that they do. Our first encounter with them was for a 2nd opinion...turned out that we ended up having to put our Rio down just a couple months later. They were so sympathetic, caring, and even sent a sympathy card that we still have with Rio's things. Always offer multiple options for any concern, such great listeners. I have never experienced them being pushy about any service or product. They may suggest something, but ultimately the decision is left up to the owner, and I have never felt pressured. I just love all the staff at Blaine Central Vet!

Our dog is always excited (YES! EXCITED!!) to go to vet. All the doctors here are wonderful and they truly love the animals that come in. When our kitty died we received a sympathy card. They are just wonderful people and I trust them. We usually see Dr Dan, but all of the doctors there are very good.

OMGosh! I just read the review from Brenda and am feeling embarrassed for this person! It makes me wonder whether she was paid by the competition to tarnish a wonderful clinic's reputation. Either that or she has a hearing problem. Dr. Dan's staff has NEVER tried to sell me ANYTHING off their own shelf and the only food I remember seeing in the clinic is the kind you sell for medicinal purposes, that is not sold commercially. AND they would NEVER recommend an inferior brand of food for your pet. They LOVE animals, as indicated by the obvious fuss they made over your pet upon your arrival. Could you have perhaps forgotten to pick up your frontline off the counter upon leaving, in your frenzy to go home and write a bad review? Ear mites? Come ON! You can do better than that! Geez Louise pet owner!...did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and need a scapegoat that day? Please find another cause in which to spread your negativity. Leave the innocent and conscientious caregivers alone!

The staff was extremely friendly when I brought in my puppy. I adored the Tech, while the Veterinarian herself was a bit windy and talked herself in circles. The clinic is in a strip mall, and was very clean and modern, but very empty (pets and their people). The staff immediately took my puppy and passed her off around the back end of the clinic for a good ten minutes. While I didn't mind this so much, she ended up getting ear mites promptly after her first visit there. This was the puppy's first real exposure to anything, and had not been around other animals, so I can confidently say that she got them from the clinic somehow. They also charged me for medication (Frontline Plus) that I never received, as well as pushed food and supplies they sold themselves, warning me of the potential "hazards" when purchasing them elsewhere. Some of the food recommendations (Pedigree was one of them) were, what I consider, low quality consisting of corn or by-products as one of the first few main ingredients. I am not attempting to be a food snob, but Pedigree or incentive pushed Science Diet?? Science Diet is an obvious better choice than Pedigree, but compared to the food I have been feeding her, there was no need to suggest I change it out for a lesser & supposedly "proven" quality food (I have never heard another Vet tell me to switch to Pedigree before this, ever). I only bring this up because I feel that Veterinarians should know what they are talking about in order to give the pet owner confidence to return. I hate to be the first reviewer to say anything negative, but I would do some homework on potential Veterinarians before choosing this clinic if you have standards as high as their service fees are.
