I took my dog there the last week of of Dec. 2014, i was told that if my dog didn't improve to bring her back and there would be no to recheck her, on Jan 4th 2015 i did in fact take her back after her condition worsened. Lo and behold the vet on duty does't know why the other vet told me there would be no recharging of the fee. Maybe i misunderstood what he said is what i was told. So now he wants another $118.00 check-up fee plus $100.00 to do an ultra sound. I can only imagine how far he would lead me down the road to extract as much as he possibly could out of me. So i paid the $118.00 to have my dogs heart rate and temperature taken again. Good scam you got going AEVS.

I brought in a dog that we thought was friend's long-lost pup (will know for sure later this morning!). It was an unusual situation all around, but the staff was wonderful to work with. Their facilities were beautiful and comfortable. The pup I brought in was terrified after being on the loose for months and surviving a very harsh winter, but the staff treated her kindly and worked around it. I have a dog of my own and should we ever need emergency services, I won't hesitate to bring her down to see this wonderful group of people. Thank you for helping!

If you have an emergency be prepared to spend well over $100 just to get your pet looked at, if you can't afford it and ask for a payment plan they'll tell you they can't do it unless you're having your pet put to sleep. How can they expect everyone to have that kind of money right off the bat? If you can, try and find another place to bring them, otherwise you're just out of luck.

The horrible moment came that all pet owners dread; midnight on a weekend in a town I didn't live in with an elderly pet who is suffering. I called AEVS and from the moment the phone was answered they were kind, helpful and so understanding. I knew that the moment had come for my beloved cat who I loved dearly and came in to the clinic a crying mess. The staff was so understanding, explained every step, asked me along each step what I wanted and making sure I had time to process what going on. Robin the tech was so understanding of what I was going on and letting me decide at my own pace. It was a moment I wish didn't have to come but AEVS made it as easy as possible and I am forever grateful. I highly recommend their services to any pet in need. Thank you AEVS for helping me say good bye to my sweet Sammy.

These folks are excellent, they have always been prompt and reasonable when we need thier service. I would not hesitate to use them.
