Got my dog fixed and a her hernia fixed at the same time. Good job

I started taking my dog here because it was within a few blocks of my home. It's a nice place, and staff is friendly and helpful! I've already taken my dog here a few times to get all of his shots, and it's been a great experience. I called around for prices for some of the shots my dog was receiving and Grand Ave Vet did have the lowest prices.

I just had an appointment for my puppy and the owner happened to be our vet that day. Well he was supposed to do a physical and look at my dogs leg because he has been limping. Well all he did was listen to my puppies heart. He didn't palpate him, look at his ear or eyes or teeth or even take his temperature. Then he starts to rotate my puppies leg to see where the injured part is. Of course my dog doesn't like that because it hurt and starts to struggle. He flips over in the process and the vet never moved with him and almost broke his leg! The vet finally gave up and said nothing was wrong. His limping got worse after that incident so I took him to Superior Animal Hospital and they were fantastic. The figured out what was wrong with him. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO GRAND AVENUE VET AGAIN!

I thought this vet was great! I brought in my dog for a first exam, nails clipped and he also received his first Distemper and Rabies vaccine at this time. The cost came to around $60 when i was expecting much much more. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. The Dr. was very thorough and the tech's were as well. I think this is a great vet and would recommend it to everyone!

Amazing experience! Highly recommended for rat care. We were nervous that a vet wouldn't treat our rats as well as a dog or cat but the dr was so respectful and kind! He listened to our concerns and treated our rats with respect. We will be going back when future care is needed
