Our cat Django broke his leg severely and we brought him to this AEVS location. The staff were kind and informative and the doctor was straight to the point, giving our cat just what he needed. We so appreciated their help. He had to spend the night there, until our regular veterinarian was available and in our discharge notes we received a summary of how he was doing at almost every hour of the night! It was relieving to know he was in their care. The following night, after being seen by our vet, our cat woke us up at 1 AM, flailing around and biting his leg. They walked us through what to do on the phone. By 4 AM when he was still upset (despite increased pain meds) and had managed to push his cast down his leg, we rushed him back in to the office. They were so kind and understanding with him. Amy and the other staff member on duty remembered him from the night before and rushed him back to treat his discomfort and reset his cast. The procedure was done quickly and as cost-effectively as possible, we were extremely relieved and glad to have their help when our own vet was unavailable.

We brought our German Shepherd here when he suddenly lost the ability to use his hind legs. We were on the fence about going anywhere other than our regular vet since the last time we brought an animal in to emergency care (not here) we only got substandard care and a huge bill. However, the reviews of this place convinced us to give it a try. After all was said and done, we were glad we came here. They were very upfront about what they were doing and how much it was going to cost, and I didn't get the feeling that they were taking advantage of the scarcity of after-hours veterinary care to fleece the customer. The vets and techs were all capable, loving, and kind. They took care of faxing our pets info to our regular vet and they sent us home with a disc of our pet's x-rays. Great service, reasonable pricing. I would not hesitate to come here again if the circumstance should arise.

I recently had to take my 7 year old husky in for a second opinion on what has been diagnosed as a pulled back muscle. Dr. Susan Bierman treated our pup and she was AWESOME! Very clear on diagnosis, direction for recovery and well as providing advice on how to prevent future injury from occurring. This is the 3rd time over the last 7 years I've had to bring my dog into AEVS and I can tell you every time I've left - I've had such a feeling of comfort knowing all will be well. And every time I've gone - I felt the price completely justified my visit. The only suggestion I can provide would be the fact we had to wait probably 20-25 minutes AFTER everything was over to pay our bill. I know they were short staffed and had a lot on their hands but after being there for already 2 hours the last thing we wanted to do after being released was having to sit in the waiting room again for 20 more minutes =/ just to pay our bill. But hey, no one is perfect - and I'd suggest this veterinary service to ANYONE who has a sick/injured pet.

I had to take my dog here last night for an allergic reaction. The staff were so kind and comforting. The price was very reasonable for an 11pm visit. My dog was seen, given shots/meds and I was in and out within an hour. They even called to check up on my girl today. I hope I never need an emergency vet again, but if I do - I will definitely return here!

Our German Shepherd came down with Gastric Torsion/ Bloat and became deathly ill around 3:00 a.m. Monday morning. The staff and Doctor were amazing and acted quickly to perform the emergency surgery. Pricing was very fair for the emergency surgery performed, and the final bill came in below the estimated costs. The quick diagnosis and excellent medical treatment saved my fur-kids life!
