Don't take your dogs here. They care more about $ than your dogs. They put dogs into treatments that are not necessary. They also care more about their hours than well being of the dog. They still have about 20 min for open hours, and we called to say that our dog is lethargic, has his tail tucked, and want to bring him in, and they said no. We could get there in 5 minutes, but they don't care. Although when you do get in, they give unnecessary treatment, and suddenly your dog needs everything!

I was very disappointed and shocked at the treatment I received today Dec.30,2014 @ 435pm. I called them because my dog was very sick and needed to be seen by a Vet, they were very crude and rude, too busy with other animals to be seen today. I asked them if they had any suggestions to help me out. No one could recommend another vet or emergency place to take him. I have been going there for over 4 years. It really sickens me they way I was treated. I talked to the PetSmart store, they said they(the store) where separate from Banfield. I will never walk into the store ever again. The ironic thing about this is I buy all the dogs food & snacks, have him groomed there. I also have the Banfield insurance for my dog. They don't give a care about loyalty. Just another large box store. I'm staying far away from them. I learned my lesson. I have approximately spent $5,000-6,000 there. And this is what I get

My dog had an ear infection. Not the first time. Banfield charged me $178. Unbelievable. And I have their wellness plan. They also continued to charge me an additional $8 per month for a heart worm injection for a dog over 100 pounds after she lost 20 pounds and now weighs 95 pounds. They say they gave her the correct amount of medication, but I don't trust them at all. Canceling their wellness plan immediately.

I just recently moved and thought I would try Banfield because it is in a convenient location for me. Worst mistake ever. The customer service of the staff is horrible besides the front desk. They are rude and try to belittle you. From how they act it is clear that they do not care about the pets or their owners. They tried to talk me into getting a bunch of services and tests done that weren't needed, and getting all this medication for my cat "just in case this is what he has." Also, the services that I did agree to that I knew were actually needed, were about twice the price of my previous veterinary clinic. Not to mention the exam fees and the "hospital charges," which were also overpriced. They also said I have to come back and do all the same tests in 15 days, then a month, then every three months. No way am I spending a few hundred dollars with them that often. Time to move on to a clinic that has staff who aren't rude and actually care about the well being of their patients rather than trying to sell you everything.

Took our dog there for "urgent care" when our normal vet was booked. They did a very thorough job, and I am glad they did. But I did get a strong sense that I was being given a pretty firm upsell for a $400 x-ray that, while possibly being informative, would have virtually no explained impact on any subsequent course of treatment. We are still grateful for the services we were given, but simply advise others to be ready for expensive options for which they should exercise their own best judgment.
